Melanoidin | Weyermann® Specialty Malts

Aromatic and flavorful, this specialty malt offers many of the same qualities as Munich but with an extra boost of aroma and complexity. Expect a rich mouthfeel, biscuit-like flavor, and a touch of sweetness that enhances malt-forward beers. When used at up to 20% of the grain bill, it provides depth without overpowering.

Ideal for Dark Lagers, Red Ales, and other styles where malt character, flavor stability, fullness, and a warm reddish hue are desired. Must be mashed for best results.
